A Quinceanera is a traditional latin american event thrown on a young ladies 15th birthday to recognize that she has entered adulthood.   The Quinceanera festival is normally held at a church and is similar to a general church wedding. The birthday girl is elaborately dressed, usually in a fancy white or a light colored gown.
